Bubba Ho-Tep
We went to see Bubba Ho-Tep last night. I didn't care if I saw it in the theater or not, but Tim really wanted to see it, and Bruce Campbell was doing a Q&A session after the film. So we went. The film was really good, much better than I thought it would be. It's a total B movie, but Campbell and Ossie Davis were great. They story was so bizzare, Elvis and JFK trying to go after an Egyptian mummy. But there are some really funny moments.
Bruce Campbell was funny in the Q&A afterward. The theater was packed. All of the showing sold out. When we left the theater, there were crowds of people. If you have ever been in the Landmark Century Theater in Chicago and know how the building is, the line of people circled all the down until like half a circle above the ground floor. It was nuts. But a good time.
