A lady I work with got had two tickets to see the play The Graduate at the Shubert Theater Friday night, and she couldn't use them, so she gave them to me. I took Tim. First we went to dinner at Shaw's Crab House. Tim had been wanting to go there for a long time. We got some gift certificates from my dad and stepmom for Christmas, so we went. Yum! I had never had oysters before, and they were great! I had a yummy cocktail and yellowfin tuna. I could't decide what to have for dessert. I had seen creme brule and pecan pie, and I knew Tim wanted the key lime pie (which I felt obligated to get since he can't order a whole dessert for himself). Then I looked at the bottom of the dessert menu, and they had a dessert sampler with small pieces of all 2, and some lemon cookies! So we got that. Yum!
Onto the play. It starred Lorraine "Dr. Melfi" Bracco. She was really good as Mrs. Robinson. She got naked on stage, but most of the lights were off so you don't get to see that well. The other actors were okay. It wasn't the best play I had seen in my life, but it was pretty good. I enjoyed it.
